“Brita’s Always the One” is Pille Kannisto’s first children’s book, offering funny and thought-provoking stories about Brita, who lives with her mother and grandmother in an apartment building in Mustamäe. Hilarious and insightful incidents constantly happen to her, from meeting Aunt Monkey to offering a spider a good life. With a caring yet mouse-fearing mother and a nimble grandmother unafraid of almost anything, Brita navigates life alongside her good friends Anna, Elli, and Paul. Her biggest dream? To have her very own personal cat. Will it happen?

Inspired by the author’s childhood in Mustamäe, the book features 34 chapters, each with its own story. The text is in a larger font for easy readability. Illustrated by Anni Mäger, the book is published by “Tänapäev” and is suitable for the first grade but will also delight older readers.
